About Me

I offer professional audio services in music production, recording, mixing, and mastering. Growing up in the East Bay, CA with a love for music and tape recorders, I achieved my first multi-track recording using two boom boxes. Eventually I acquired a Tascam 4-track and spent most of my time recording bands in my neighborhood. I was a drummer and bassist in various bands, including Shining Scribes, voted by Bam Magazine in the mid 90’s as one of the best unsigned Bay Area bands. As a session bassist, I performed with the house band on the Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore video game, and recorded an album with The Clarkes, lead by frontman/guitarist Peter Weldon of The Rosemarys.

After earning a Sound Arts degree from SAE Expression College, I joined Different Fur Studios in San Francisco as a staff engineer, where I worked with artists including Mister Loveless, The Morning Benders, Loquat, One Republic, Tegan & Sara, G. Love & Special Sauce, Switchfoot, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Rupa & The April Fishes, Locura, The Evening, Re:ignition, Bizar Bazar, Malocchio, Solomon’s Ashes, Jetboy, Specimen, and Brother Ali.

These days I team with artists and bands, and create records. From pre-production to the final mix, I collaborate on song arrangement and lyrics, guide an artist toward a great performance, and provide a recording and mix of sonic distinction that serves the song. Clients often tell me that I’m comfortable to work with, and that they trust my ears.

Now operating at my production studio in Long Beach CA, I have had the pleasure of working with Kindra Starr, Jajuni Productions, Dinosaur Horses, Moonbird Medicine, Philip Boone, Gray Gardens, Meanwhile, East Of The River, BullyWest, Clone Hero, Youngest Of Elders, and Christian Singles.
